
About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Technical Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in driving customer success and expanding our presence in the GCC region. You will lead a team focused on delivering exceptional product support and customer experience for our structural engineering software solutions. This role combines technical expertise with leadership and strategic development, ensuring our products meet the needs of engineers across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management (80%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure business growth and high customer satisfaction.
- Provide first-level technical support for all IDEA StatiCa products, helping engineers complete their projects effectively.
- Educate customers through onsite and online training sessions.
- Represent the company by demonstrating IDEA StatiCa at meetings, workshops, webinars, and conferences across the GCC.
- Conduct technical demos for potential and existing customers.
- Support the sales process using the Proactive Selling methodology.
- Create and maintain product content specific to the GCC region, including knowledge bases, videos, articles, and marketing materials.
- Ensure a stellar customer experience throughout the GCC.
- Team Leadership (20%)
- Lead a team of up to 5 professionals, focusing on product and customer experience.
- Develop and execute sales, marketing, and business expansion strategies for Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Mentor and support team members in achieving their objectives.
- Monitor market trends and provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with software vendor teams to align global operations and strategies.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in product, project, or support management within the structural engineering sector.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a multicultural environment.
- Strong understanding of CAE/FEA software and engineering workflows relevant to the GCC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the GCC.
